Suburbs for example is still a lot of fun. Also, the level design has (mostly) held up over the years. It’s not that great looking and it’s more of a novelty but its there if you want it. It suffers from the same outdated controls that 2 does but it actually has some uniqueness to it that even the newer games don’t have like having a cockpit view. But to be honest both in feel and art direction it’s very similar to TM2 and in a lot of ways feels more like a spiritual successor or even a remake of sorts to it.
#Twisted metal head on ps2 ps3#
It’s not worth your time.Īlso, as a side note i would have to say i only put PS3 above Head On because I personally feel Head on is a liiiitle too easy. They feel pretty generic car combat and dont have the uniqueness that the other TM games do.ĭont bother with Small Brawl. Personally i think they’re okay games, just not good twisted metal games. Even the original team regarded them as being pretty bad. I did not like TM 3 or 4 at all but thy have a fanbase. However if you can get past that, it’s a solid game. TM2 is generally regarded as the best of the classic games but the controls definitely have not aged well. Highly recommend playing on the easier difficulty for a beginner.
